Hopi

Hopi Elementary School celebrated the State of Arizona’s 100th birthday with a giant birthday card that was hand delivered by Hopi’s fourth graders to Arizona Governor Jan Brewer as part of a field trip to the State Capitol.

Hopi Helping Heroes, a food and toiletry drive for U.S. troops overseas, 7,000 food items and 3,000 hygiene products.

Hopi Elementary School’s annual Book Fair will be Nov. 3-4, featuring thousands of gently used children’s and adult books, CDs, DVDs, videos and games.

Nine Hopi Elementary School fifth-graders have been selected for the South District Honor Band.

More than 400 Hopi students will participate in the school’s annual variety show.

The Hopi Holiday Care Drive raised 8,543 pounds of aid for Interfaith Cooperative Ministries.
